Philip Quaque School is the oldest school in Ghana. This school and the other one in neighbor have more than 600 students. In October 2020, Grino commissioned a solar-based water desalination system to produce clean, renewable, and affordable water to the students and community for the first time. Grino provides a substantial positive impact for Cape Coast community, including increasing school and study hours for children, better overall business outcomes.This impact of our solution benefits both socially and economically by impacting health, sanitation and creating several local jobs for the CapeCoast community.
